Stewards City Tour

Amsterdam is a global hotspot for steward ownership, home to more than fifty steward-owned companies. On Wednesday 7 October, the day before SOFA, we'll take you to visit a few of them. Don't often make it to Amsterdam? Then the tour doubles as a great way to see the city.

We start the tour at 11.45 with a light lunch at Station Wildeman in Nieuw-West. There, we explore the concept of Community Wealth Building. Can it help us build democratic steward-owned companies in which profit and voting rights are shared with employees and local communities?

From there we'll continue through the city together, stopping at 4 pioneering steward-owned companies. At every stop, a founder, employee or steward will share a personal story.

And just as valuable: you'll already get to know a few people you can meet up with at the festival the next day.

The Stewards City Tour is part of SOFA.
